New member ISO 27FC

Post by DCatSea »

New member in Virginia. Not new to boating but new to Albins. Looking to cruise Chesapeake and the ICW - slowly. This goal almost unheard of in "GoFaster" country hereabouts. Will be cruising the forums ISO 27FC for 2 responsible adults.

Welcome to the forum. It's nice to know there's some more people out there that like to "smell the roses". You'll probably find a great FC here. They come up every so often, just don't get in a hurry. I love my FC. I really lucked out finding her. I'm almost finished getting her ready for some serious cruising again. I'll be seeing you on here again. Ben

Just a follow up to let group know that we are still looking for a 27FC; preferably on the East Coast.

We have found several on line, but it's difficult to separate the "Sold in 2009" offerings from those still on the market.

The plan would be to move the boat to Deale MD to prepare for the 2015 season in local waters (Chesapeake Bay / Potomac), then hit the ICW and head south (or maybe north) for 2016.

Any pointers would be gratefully received and acknowledged.

D&G, Ya gotta have some patience. Your boat will find you eventually. It took me about 6 months and approx. 2500 miles of travel but it was definitely worth it. Good Luck. Ben

Thanks Tego and Jay,
Patience is my middle name - hence the need to join the slow lane:-) I have responded to Port Richey post and aim to try and get down there to see it in the near future. There is also a nice one in MN.
Trying to set my meeting schedule to cover trips.
