Hi Dave and welcome to the group. With regards to 28's there are a few good flush deck boats on yachtworld. There is also a cracking 1999 31 there for sale at $98k.


Is there any reason why you prefer the flash deck option over the engine box models?

I see an albin the 28 at the marina but never see the owner unfortunately. The downeast style has really caught me, looked at a lot of boat types but keep coming back to this brand and model which is perfect in every way for my needs and pocket.

I have a nice 1996 TE with a 330 Cummins ,getting ready to put it on the market,we are moving up to a full size trawler. Price will be $58k firm, I looked a lot before we found it so I know it priced right. Great boat ,Cummins is a better motor an a Yam but noisier ,gears vs timing belt. We on the Chesapeake bay near Deltaville.

I could take it down the Hudson to New York in the spring, so there would be no transportation fee and I have always wanted to do that ride. The boat is all wrapped up for the winter but in the water early may on the Richelieu river near Montréal if you can wait till spring and want to try it out. Have a look at the pictures.
