Hi, new to this form and boating in general. Have just done a purchase agreement an sent a check for a most excellent 1986 Albin 27 aft cabin. My wife and I are recently retired so will have the time to work on our boat an acquire some boating skills. We look forward to making changes and upgrades so the boat can better fulfill our needs. Our hope is to do some long term crusing, maybe some day the Great Loop. We look forward to learning many things from the people on this form, an someday might be able to share some information as well. Thanks us.

Re: New member
Welcome Mark: Lots of support here for the 27FC. We have members from the PNW doing the loop in a 27FC over a number of years.
The boat has been fine for them. Likely they will get back to you when time allows. They are out boating in thier PNW boat.

Howdy Mark, I'm also a 27FC owner and really love the boat. I'm sure you will too. It's so easy to handle and maintain, and a great cruiser. Hope to see you on this forum often. Ben

Thanks Ben, good to be here. I've been to Vonore in my past life as a truck driver, think went to Con-Agra. Looking forward now to seeing the country from the wet side.
