A sad day on the water

Post by tbnolin »

Around 10:00 am Sunday morning, a 42' sail boat that was moored at a local marina caught fire. There were 3 occupants an board, a mother, a father an 11 year old autistic boy. The mother and father were rescued and brought to the Stuart hospital were one of them was flown to Miami for treatment. Unfortunately. the boy did not make it. We watched as the authorities were trying to haul the boat out of the water around 10:30 last night. We thought something was not right as the many local and state personnel were being very careful hauling the shell out of the water. They had still not recovered the boy at that time. The cause is still under investigation. Truly a tragic day on the water.
It's all about relaxation :)
