Currently own a Nordic Tug 34 fly bridge model but interested in getting an Albin 36 express trawler. We live in SF bay area and note that there is 36 advertised in Ventura, CA. 1999 model, probably hull#2. Twin Cummins 370, no genset or AC. Appears to suffer from disuse/neglect.
Does anyone have info on this boat called "SARANDIPITY"? Any specific problems on early hull models I should be aware of?
Welcome all comments.

Hi Jim,
Can't add any info on the 36 you're looking at but wanted to say a quick hello.
I'm sure you've searched around the 36 sub-forum. Best of luck to you!

Jim: Welcome to the group. The 36' you are looking at is in some ways special. Twin Cummins is a great place to be. Cats were used in some of these. They Cummins is easy service and dependable.
Very nice boats although I don't know anything about this particular one.

Jim, wondering why you think it has been neglected.
Blue Moon has no genset and no A/C, either. That's not necessarily a drawback.
