Help with window handles

The last owner of my boat replaced the factory window pulls with small oak blocks. I can't keep them glued on for more than a few months. If anyone has a photo of the original handles on a 31TE, I would appreciate looking at the factory installed ones and where they were located. I have tried all kinds of glues and resins, any advice on what to use?

Nancy had a similar question. Assuming the 31TE has a similar arrangement as the28TE, your local glass repair company will likely have stick-on "indents" that will work. Last ones I purchased were clear but the original ones that came with my 2001 28TE were black.

I have the black pulls. They have been coming off. I have tried car rear view mirror glue with only temporary success. In short order, they come off.

Has anyone found a good adhensive, or should I seek out new ones from a glass shop as carolmarie suggests?

I replaced with the identical black pulls. The shipping vs. parts cost ratio was annoying but peanuts in the grand scheme of things. I bought the ones that Rob suggested. Ordered two; they shipped four, which took much of the pain out of the price. I cleaned the glass well before installing, and we commented just this evening on what a huge improvement they make to the windows.

I'd imagine you could mask off a section of glass where you want to put the handles and apply some of that hydrofluoric acid gel stuff the vandals use to graffiti glass on busses, etc. to etch the windows so the adhesive would have a chance. Probably a scientific supply house would carry hydrofluoric gel; or an auto supply store.

I have reglued the black original pulls successfully with crazy glue (e.g. epoxy).
