IMRON MS - 600
Hi All, finally after 25 years of drooling all over Albin's at Boat Shows, I am in Contract of a beautiful 2005 35 T/E Command Bridge w/ pilot house and dual stations & Yanmar 440 hp diesel. Her Hull appears to be Flag Blue and chalky, in need of fresh paint. Does anyone know if Awlgrip & Dupont's Imron MS -600 are similar ? Does one have more advantage over the other? Thanks for your response.

Re: IMRON MS - 600
Hi Big Dog, and congratulations!
I'm assuming you have a 35 TE and NOT a command bridge, since the CB's don't have a lower station.
Can't help you on the paint but a can tell you that a proper wet-sanding by a detailer that knows what they're doing can probably bring that gel-coat back to life, for a lot less than a paint job! Our 2006 was very oxidized, and now looks great.
Post some pictures! Your fellow 35 owners (and the rest of the crew) would love to see her.

Re: IMRON MS - 600
Thanks Doug for the reply. She is a 35 TE with the rare option of a Command Bridge w/ upper & lower stations. I will bring it to a Painter or Detailer & see what they say. Thanks, Jimmy.

Re: IMRON MS - 600
Congratulations and welcome, Jimmy! Would love to see a photo of your boat since I'm not familiar with any TE with a command bridge. The Albin command bridge model is three or four steps up to the bridge. I wonder if your boat is a 35TE with a flybridge (8-10 treads up a ladder).

Re: IMRON MS - 600
That's affirmative, my mistake. She is a Flybridge and not a Command bridge. Sorry for the confusion, Jimmy.
