I am John fischetti out of Sag Harbor NY just found out about this great site. I bought my 2006 26cc"Live Life" in san francisco las t september and had it trailered across country love the boat only had 43 hours loaded her up with garmin electronics this winter and now i am ready for a great fishing season . Took her out for a cruise around shelter island and greenport this morning she is a tank 22 knots thru anything hope to meet a lot of you this summer in greenport ny.

In the 2002 -2004 era the 315hp engine had valve sleeve problems and there was a recall. The serial numbers of the engines involved were between #50101 and #53988.

Whereas, your vessel is a 2006, the engine itself may be a little older. If your engine falls into the recall category make sure that the engine has been upgraded. Perhaps the previous owner(s) attended to this issue if it had been it had been known to him/them. Unfortunately, the Yanmar recall program has expired.

I believe that there is more information on this Albin site. Use of the search function should aid in locating it.

Hopefully, your engine is one not involved in the recall...

Hi John, welcome aboard. I remember checking out the brand new CC's at the Norwalk Boat show back in 05/06 (memory not what it used to be!) and really liked it. Cool little boat.

Hopefully you'll come visit us at the rendezvous at the end of July since we'll be right there in your home waters.

thanks i love the boat great little fishing machine goes thru anything will try and get over to the rendezvous but i turn 50 that sat and having a bash sat night maybe go for quick ride sat morn or fri afternoon greenport is a great town
