What do you guys use to clean your curtain windows. I've read rainex is a big no-no. Looking for personal good experiences.

For the drop curtain - I use Plexus Plastic Cleaner.
There was another brand that someone had suggested to me from the aircraft field. Maybe one of our pilot friends will know the name. It is used to clean plexiglas on aircraft windshields as is the Plexus.
No ammonia (ie Windex).
Now that I remembered the name, this same product line carries a polish that may help with the crazed portholes some have experienced.

Mirror Glaze
I use Meguiars Mirror Glaze Cleaner, then the Polish every fall when I take the canvas off. It seems to get rid of small scratches and put a good coat on the esinglass that beads up nicely.

RicM wouldn't you use the polish at the begining of the season as well? So the stuff is a two part deal?

Meguiars Mirror Glaze Cleaner
They make several products for cleaning and polishing plastic. I used to use them on the plastic windows of my old MGA, hoping they would magically become clear again. I clean and polish the canvas and windows before I put them away (I have an indoor warehouse space where I hang them) then they are already to go in the spring. The polish lasts most of the season.

I'm with Ric.
I started using Meguiars Mirror Glaze clear plastic cleaner #17 and then a follow up with Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish #10 on the rear plastic window of a 70's Triumph TR6 with a friend. I continued to use it for boating. I now use it on the port lights and hatch / takes all blemishes away and the polish finishes it off great. No curtains to do as I run the Alaskan Bulkhead.
At one time I thought I needed to replace a windshield on a center console because it was so bad and I used the Meguirs and Bingo, Bango Bob's Your Uncle / looked close to new. Highly recommend the product.

Figures, This is only going to be at a boat $tore. I went to two auto places and while they had lots of Meguiars stuff, they didn't have the 10 & 17. They did have a plastic cleaner/polisher called PlastX, but I'll wail to get the already tried stuff. New Eisenglass, don't want to screw it up yet

Windo cleaner
Hi: Yes I have cleaned lots of aircraft windows on my way to boats, same plastic stuff as your window on your your boat, the Meguiars Mirror Glaze clear plastic cleaner ( Blue bottle) is the stuff to use, it work fantastic. just like you car, just wax, it let it dry and wipe it off with a clean towel. Look for a aircraft supply Co. and they will have it. Steve on Bella, 28TE

I use a product called Plexus. I've had excellent results with it.

"Klear To Sea." Works great. Spray on, use paper towels. Used it this weekend to take of a 2-year accumulation of filth and it worked beyond expectation.
