Newbie with Albin questions

Hi Everyone,
My name is Bill and I am looking at an Albin 25 made in the 70's. I live in Southeast Alaska and will be hand trolling for Salmon this summer out of whatever boat I end up with. The Albin is very intriguing to me, I have always liked them. My only concern is parts availability. The boat I am looking at has a 20 horse Albin in it. How difficult is it to find parts for these when you need them? I have also been thinking about the little things, such as wiper motors, alternators, etc. Are these smaller items things that can be cross-referenced at an auto store when they need replacing? or are they a fairly specific item? Lastly, is there anything specific I should look at on this Albin, other than the general assessment that you would do on any boat? Any trouble spots? I am fairly excited about this boat, if it all looks good I intend to own it pretty soon. I look forward to my membership on this board.

Parts for the Albin engine "might" be available through Volvo. I'm pretty sure that Volvo Penta acquired the marine engine division in 1981. At least this should give you a leg up.
