New Rod Holders Finished and Installed
So in the need to add more rod holders (because there never seem to be enough) My son and I started a little winter project to make the King Arthur seem a little different and increase fishability. This little guy adds 7 more rod holders, a cutting board and additional tackle storage. The wood is teak and has 3 coats of stain on it, four 15 degree rod holders, and then one set of three vertical rod holders.

That is really nice. The cutting board is a great idea not usually seen on ready made ones. I don't see where the tackle storage is.

The tackle storage is a hanging drawer that is not in the pictures above. We can't decide if we want to make it out of teak or get a wire basket for easy draining when washed.
Also new Blue LEDs were also added to the old courtesy lights. Here is a picture.
Soon to have two 3 inch Blue LEDs below the water line. Should be installed this weekend and will post a picture when done.

Re: New Rod Holders Finished and Installed
In my travels this winter I noticed these on a boat. Seems like a good idea, simple install and no drilling holes below the water line...Kingarthur wrote:...Soon to have two 3 inch Blue LEDs below the water line. Should be installed this weekend and will post a picture when done.

Kingauthur: Like your completed project. Looks great on the boat and should be a fine fishing and functional addition.

When I was docked next to your yacht last summer at POE, it would have been great if you had them on so I could have found Serenity lot easier at night.

I just noticed you're a SoNo boat. Where do you keep her? We're over at Cove.
