Motor sailor vs standard hull?
Is there a difference between the hull of an Albin 25 motor sailor and motor only models? I have seen a few photos of boats with little wing keels, but not sure if those were on motor sailors?

Re: Motor sailor vs standard hull?
I, too, have seen small keels on A-25's in a couple of photos, however, they are properly called "Bilge Keels". "Wing Keels" are stubby wings extending horizontally (or slanting downward) from both sides of a vertical fin keel. The one sailing A-25 I looked was built with the same hull as the motor-powered A-25 we subsequently bought. The Sailer had been modified by the owner to have a 1000-lb Ferro-Cement keel added to virtually the entire length of the original fiberglass keel or skeg so the boat could support a taller, heavier sloop rig.
