I was thinking the same thing today, Marcy. The first day of winter is hitting us hard, though - we're having an ice storm. It's got to get better from here!

Re: Winter Solstice Greetings
Nancy: Thank you for the good thoughts. Thinking about longer days makes living with these shorter days easier.
The Holidays are fun with friends and family. Day light saving time is my best time of year. Darkness at 5pm cuts us really short on the outdoor activities that spark my life. Yes, I am looking forward to longer days and summer boating.
We have out west at least in the Serria's had lots of recent cold, but no rain or snow. I am at Tahoe for the weekend and there is no resort here with enough snow to even get the gear out. We look forward to Jan/Feb dumping of snow after which boating will come with the longer days.
We out west have been watching the really brutal weather in the east of the last few weeks. Longer days and local snow will be good. Merry Christmas to all.

Re: Winter Solstice Greetings
I was under shrink wrap tinkering and listening to music on T-R for 4 hours yesterday in just a light cotton shirt. Almost felt like it was time to start spring commissioning. While I was there the yard blocked up a boat behind me blocking me in and it took that spring is coming feeling right out of me

Re: Winter Solstice Greetings
I'm so sorry to say this, but it was 73 degrees F here today. Big reason why I live down South, amongst others. We have an annual tradition down here in this little fishing village....we start the year the way we like to spend it....out on the water! I've done it in shorts and I've done it in snow...But I've Done It! I'll take pictures and post!
