A full face motorcycle helmet is even better. I had restored a CJ7 Jeep and had the top AND windshield off for awhile and just drove around with my full face 8)

Great photos, Doug, and such a happy skipper. I'm really glad you got to do this after losing pretty much the whole season. You can go home and turn on the heat now.

Great shots Doug! I miss cruising this time of year when it's quiet out there. We pulled early this year.

I went down to the boat today to change the oil and winterize everything so she can be hauled tomorrow.

Sun was shining, weather was warm-ish.

Well, you had to warm the oil up, right? Gorgeous photos!

Exactly! I could burn some fuel at the dock or I could put a load on the engines!

Plus I had the generator running. (Had to warm that oil too!) So the heater in the cabin was on! Nice and toasty when I got back!

I will say....you are a die hard!!! And good for you!! Looked like plenty of room to spread the blanket out...campfire....wienies on a stick...a nice cold one. If you didn't do that, I think you should go back and close out the right!!! Nice snapshots!
It's all about relaxation :)

What a great end to the year! Tempting to spread the blanket on the beach, but oddly no one wanted to join me!!

Wasn't the year we expected or wanted, but you have to take the good you can find!

So looking forward to meeting many of you, for the first time or again, as 2014 gets underway. The days are getting longer!

For now though, 2013 is officially over.

Doug: You are indeed hardcore. Nice pictures of the final year cruise. Thanks for sharing. Heading North to Anacortes, Wa end of Jan. for the Seattle Boat Show. Can't wait to fire up and check out Nibbles. Will soon be time for dewinterizing and annual services. Now, I see your on the hard picture. So yes, it really over for a bit.
