A new member from Turkey

Hello,

I am an owner of 1997 Albin 28TE. My boat is located in in Bodrum/Turkey. I think that I am the only one in Turkey who owns an Albin 28Te. I will post some pictures of her. Her name is FINDIK which means hazelnut in english. The previous owner named her after her dog. The boat specs are :
- a new (250 Hours) yanmar 315 LPA-STP 2
- panda generator 4 KWA
- Cruisair air condition
- Vetus bow thruster
- Zurth trolling valve
- Quick - Lofrance windlass with 12kg Ultra anchor
- simrad nss12 with 1 kw chirp transducer
- Raymarine C125 mFD w 600 watt transducer, radar and evolution autopilot
- propan cooker
- new Vitrifrigo refrigerator

Wow that is a great looking 97 model. Someone has done a marvelous job upgrading everything on the boat. I am sure you are going to enjoy it. Welcome to AOG.

Wow, sweet ride.
So I see there are no pilings (hence no spring lines) and instead you have lines going off the bow under the surface of the water. Are they anchors or just weights?

Nice looking boat...and what a great place to go boating! We stayed in Bodrum for a week in 1984 and thought the whole area was fantastic.

Welcome: This a perfect addition of 28te engine box. You really have it decked outto the full extent. Everything is as clean and new looking as a brand new boat. Congra's on such a great fine there. Always surpirised to see all the places the Albin shows up.

Thats a good looking 28, did you have her up for sale recently or have you just bought it as I remember seeing one for sale in Turkey (the same colour) about a year ago?

Thank you for all of your responses, I bought this boat appr one year ago and posted here without the photos.
I am trying to take care of the boat. This year I will haul and wax&polish and make anti fouling bottom paint.

I have 2 lines ( summertime 1 line) going off the bow to the anchored weights below water (5-6 mtr.) this is the usual way in marinas in Turkey.
