Folks,
I am presently trying to locate the Raytheon control box for the Raytheon autopilot on my 2001 express trawler.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Tony

Re: Raytheon autopilot control box location
Don't quote me on this but it could be that the brain is right in the display head, hence no separate control box.

Re: Raytheon autopilot control box location
Most Raymarine autopilots have a separate control box and I think that would be true for a 2001 vintage. It's probably not far from the control head, but it might be easier to locate it by tracing the wires from the pump back to the control box. There will be two fairly heavy wires and should be easy to locate.

Re: Raytheon autopilot control box location
When I upgraded my electronics this spring, I couldn't find the control box either. I looked everywhere on the boat and concluded it was in the display.

Re: Raytheon autopilot control box location
Thanks to each of you. I took the advice and traced back from the rudder posts and found the box below the power panel on the salon side of the bulwark separating the engine compartment from the hold below the salon.
Thanks again and enjoy the holidays!
