Thanks to John for adding the 37' Trawlers
Thanks to John for adding the 37' Trawlers. There are not too many of these special boats, but those that own 'em, love 'em!

I want to add my thanks as well. I love my 37' Palm Beach and feel very happy to be in the size listing.

I think we can probably help you out...Capt Kangeroo wrote:I'm jealous, us poor folk with the 49's and 50's have no where to go..... we've been cast aside, unwanted and forgotten..... sniffle
I have to admit I'm not all that familiar with the older Albins. Where would the 49's and 50's fit best? Are there other models out there?

Re: Thanks to John for adding the 37' Trawlers
Hi Doug, I was just kidding. I doubt a new category would be worth your effort. I think those of us with the 45 and up Albins just use the general category or the 36 to 43 and that's fine by me.
AS near as I can determine the 45's and 46's began in the mid 2000's to current date, the 48's and 49's mid 1980's to early 90's, the 50's and up (of which there are precious few) seem to be built to order from late 1980's to current date.
There seems to be lots of 49's around. The 50's seem to be few and far between. My 50 was custom built by Albin for the previous owner in 1990 at a cost of 1.2 million (ouch!) and I have only seen one other which at the time was in Montreal Canada. It could be there are no others? The current 50 Command Bridge Albin is entirely different than earlier 50's.
Regardless of size or age, there seems to be precious little information on the larger Albins
Cheers

How about "Big old slow leaky Trawlers"? That should cover it.
