Greetings Guys!! I just bought a 1997 Albin 28' TE called "RISK" from Westbrook, CT. She has the Peninsular "Beast" engine, about 750 hours. I've taken her out a couple times and it performs just like a good friends '96 28'TE also with the Beast.
I was a former 25' Parker owner (9 years) , but it was time for an upgrade.
I have a lot of questions, such as, how do you get the fuel sender out? The prior owner went to replace and he claims he didn't have the clearance to remove??
Anyway, I'll be hanging with you guys and hope to contribute as much as possible.

Nice boat. Being in the insurance business I like the name too. The back deck has to be removed. No biggie. See this prior post viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1974&hilit=centroid

Hi John I also had to replace the sender on my 97 28 TE It's Albin Easy just remove the screws around the sender it's tight but can be done sender pulls right out. Check first that the sender is bad and not the gage Good luck Tom Alby

Welcome. That is a great looking boat inside & out. The Parker is a nice boat, but they are not Albins. I really like the 28' and know you will love the creature confronts of the boat and the years ahead. Congras. on a fine choice.

Welcome to AOG. Is that shiney boat the original gelcoat or is it painted? It looks great.
