TE 28 2006 Side Window replacement
I was talking to a shop about window refinishing. It was not inexpensive, given the nature of aluminum powder coating. He recommended trying to source a new window. Does anyone know who supplied the Albin windows?

Re: TE 28 2006 Side Window replacement
I finally decided to call Albin to see if they knew who built the original side windows. It seems that they are out of business. New windows will be made by someone else, using new tooling, TBD. Charlie said that when they get orders for 4 to 5 28's they will get show on the road. C&C/Albin did say that they did build 3 TE 28 in 2013. I guess they are out of windows now.
Apparently Yanmar has stopped the production of our 315 HP motor, so there will be more changes to come.

Re: TE 28 2006 Side Window replacement
Is it really cheaper to source an entire new window, rather than refinishing yours? That just doesn't seem right.

Re: TE 28 2006 Side Window replacement
I decided to remove the window. I was not as bad as anticipated. The hard to get window screws really were not screwed in as the others. So it slid out to the back. Now to repair it, paint it and put it back in. Have to wait until the drink wrap comes off.
