New (to me) Albin 28

Post by Gammoner »

Hi All,

In August I bought an Albin 28, 2001 Yanmar 315. Have been looking at them and shopping for a couple of years. The long 'in between boats' stage is over. Can't begin to say how thrilled I am with it. Am really happy to be a part of the AOG and look forward to many years aboard 'Compass Rose'. Am a lifelong sailor and power boater who has finally decided there is a lot to be said about turning a key and going!

I always say, "I could be a sailor, but..." Given our lifestyle I need to be able to go when I want to, not when the wind blows! And the mid-summer winds on Long Island Sound are VERY uncooperative!

Welcome to AOG. Post some pic of your "new" 28 and tell us more about her!

(And please help build our knowledge base by providing your details in the new TE series registry. :) )

Welcome. The 28 is a great boat. At least out west we see more of those than any others. Great all around fisher/cruiser & the best part is they will tow. Enjoy.
