Electric center window

Post by sweetwater »

Has anyone installed an electric actuator to open the center pilothouse window on their 28? Im just thinking it would be a nice mod.. I have had to close the window many times under way to stop spray from coming in... It sure would be nice to just push a button...

I'd rather have a button I could push to make the dinette table go down when it's time to go to bed!

This season though my daughters are finally heavy enough to get the table to go down. It's one of their "boat chores" when we are staying aboard..

The button also has to make up the bed to be fully useful. But the electric center window would probably be more useful overall. It could probably actually be done. I cruise alone often and leave the window closed when I anticipate spray. An easy way to open/close would have it open more often.
