I live in CT and my son and I are actively looking for a 28' TE to purchase by Spring. (I buy, he drives)!
The forum has great participation and we are looking forward to being part of it.
My son does a whole lot more fishing than me and primarily fishes off Niantic CT to the Race and Block Island.
Currently have a 20' Maritime that will be up for sale.
I have looked at 1994-2002 models and a bit overwhelmed. Budget is under $65,000.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

There was a 2000 28 for sale in the buy sell section at the end of July for under $50,000.00 Can.Check it out.

Nowhere Special in the for sale section appears to be a superb boat and its in your price range.

I have a very nice 2000 Albin 28, with a rebuilt Yanmar and many upgrades that can be purchased in your budget.
