Rhode River & Spa Creek
Got underway at 6:15pm Friday evening and made it from Herrington Harbour South to the Rhode River (off the West River). Sunset was at 7:28 and we dropped the hook around 8:00. It was still light enough to see and Sharon did a great job with the anchor. Saturday we headed to Spa Creek in Annapolis to grab a mooring buoy and meet another couple on a <gasp> Searay. As long as your boat is less than 35.9999 ft., you can stay in St. Marys Cove for $25. Spa Creek has an endless parade of kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and boats. The Spa Creek drawbridge has a vertical clearance of 15' and goes up and down every half hour on the hour/half hour. Sunday we left and headed up the Severn River and made it to Round Bay (Severna Park) before heading south and finally home. Great weather and a good time!!!
