I have just purchased a 1996 -28 ft Albin and would like to install an air conditioning unit and am interested in determining the best location for the main unit ,could someone please advise. The boat has a peninsula diesel model named the beast,i would greatly appreciate any further input as to the horsepower of this model. i would thank you for any help in these matters.

Re: air conditioning
Hi Southercross, and welcome to AOG.
We have an extensive post on AC in a 28. Just follow this link: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3254
The "Beast" is a 300 hp marinized GM engine. There are many discussions of it in our forums, just use the search function and do some reading.
Best of luck with the new boat!
