New (2002) Albin in the water !

Post by BobbyV9 »

Hello all,

I am happy to report that we are the proud owners of a beautiful Albin 28. We purchased it from Standish Marine in Tiverton, RI. Can't say enough about the knowledge and helpfulness of Ken Hilton (owner) as we proceeded thru the purchasing process. My broker, Capt. Jack Hay and my surveyor, Mark Sepe, were also extremely professional and willing to endure some rather cold and bleak weather conditions to allow for a thorough survey.

We are happily docked at Stone Cove Marina in Wakefield, R.I.. Let the season begin !

It just don't get no better than Ken! Brokered our purchase of Steel Hers and has been an invaluable source of parts and information since!!!!!!

Just brought Zero PSI home (Jamestown) from winter storage at Standish. A better fellow than Ken Standish you will not meet.

There are some maintenance and upgrades that I could do on my 28. But Ken's prices are fair and he (and his chosen vendors) do good work. Some of the original Albin workers are employed at the marina which also helps. I tend to give them all the business that I can.

Enjoy your 28 and see you in the bay.
