Trailer for 28' Albin - Northwest

Post by Anthony1013 »

A friend of mine is selling a Triple Axle trailer that will accomodate a 28' Albin. Here is the ad: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/boa/3096499171.html

I'm interesting in the trailer but I would only use it twice a year. Is anyone interesting in sharing the expense? I'm open to ideas...

Thanks,

Anthony

I am... I'm over on the P-Dock next to the 31' Albin named Strawberry. I think I saw yours in port this weekend.

It's nice to meet you...

Anthony,

Did you ever figure out the trailer situation? I'm looking at pulling our 28' for winter maintenance and have been looking at trailers this weekend. Similar situation in that I would like to keep the boat in the Tacoma but have the option of taking to Westport for a little while in the summer without running around. Did Tacoma to Neah Bay this year and that was long enough.

Anyway, if you are still looking let me know, it might be interesting to talk more.

Robb -

Apologies for the delayed response....

I never made a move on the trailer option, I just continue to hire my transport guy. I know the long term cost solution is getting a trailer but I just don't want to insure, maintain, license and store it. Not to mention, my car will not make a good tow vehicle.

Anthony

I ended up buying a trailer and modifying. Had the boat out of the water all winter to do maintenance stuff. Now back on the boathouse in Tacoma.

Running to Neah next week for halibut, same as last year.

Hopefully will tow to Westport for tuna this summer for the first time.

My Production Manager is a PSA member. Do you know Randy Qualls by chance?
