My Albin31 got a leaks around the stuffing box.
I guess its time to change new packing ... Have any one done it ?
Wish to know the packing specs/size and choices .... PTFE(Teflon) or GTU(Goretex) material ?
Cheers !

Hello Albin31Owners,
Updates.
Dismantle the stuffing box .... took out the existing packing, its 1/4" PTFFE stuff packing.
Try out the GTU type packing, can use the 5/16" size.... looks good after installation.
Yet to do sea trial.... will do later this weekend.
Cheers !

I think you made the right choice on the Goretex stuffing. From what I have read on other sites you can tighten that stuffing until it is essentially dripless without worry about heating and damaging the drive shaft. Let us know if you find the same results.
