Hi kjg - we bought our 1994 28TE last week in Ft Lauderdale. Good to know that there are others out there with the "older" 28s. We are now in the early stages of providing the necessary TLC. Good luck with yours.

Hi kjg1951:
I noticed you're in New Bern, NC which is where I keep At Last. I'm still getting settled in to the Neuse.
Welcome and hope to see you out there.

Wow.... did not know there were so many Albin Owners in the area. Just bought a 2008 28' TE. I live down on Clubfoot Creek right off the Neuse River. It's a nice place to anchor and I have a Mooring available if anyone would like to use it. Maybe we can all get together and meet one day??

We bought an Albin 28 TE 1995 240 diesel low hours in Punta Gorda in 2009. We shipped it down to St. Vincent in the Caribbean. We've never been sorry. She was in excellent shape and still is. On the hard down here for 8 months in the broiling sun, but no harm done. Have had many offers to buy her, but not ready yet. All we can say is don't hesitate to buy an Albin in good shape, even an old lady!
