replacement sinks and faucets

Hello 28TE Owners, anyone know where to buy new galley and head sink and faucets? Anyone know how to replace the old ones? thanks!

Here are the highlights:

Sinks are available at Hamilton Marine.
I used Moen laundry faucets for the galley and head sinks.
I found an RV faucet for the shower controls.

All faucets are easily replaced if your arms are long enough. I replaced the galley faucet. The fridge has to be removed to access it, and then you can kind of crawl into the opening and reach the faucet washers. The other alternative would be to remove the cabinet below the sink, but on our boat, that's more complicated because the sink drain would have to be disconnected. No, thank you.

The head faucets are still in their boxes awaiting someone with longer arms than mine. You have to crouch in the bilge between the two helm seats and reach up the narrow opening behind the aft wall of the head. I can't tell you how tempted I am to cut an access hole...but that's really a project for a fiberglass guy, and there are other things higher on our priority list.

The galley job, which i just completed was relatively easy, even though i am no longer a pup. The head job or the faucets would seem to involve cutting into the fiberglas and putting a typical access panel into place to cover the hole and allow future access as required. My worry; what is unseen when you make the circularcut? Any electrical or water or cabling? The access hole i refer to would be under the sink.

Jim,

There's all kinds of stuff behind the bulkhead beneath the head sink - wires, plumbing, insulation. You can see it from the bilge. You only have to be an amateur contortionist.

I think the faucet replacement is possible if your arms are long enough.

No need to cut holes (although long arms do help). I can't figure out how to add a photo to this reply but if you Google "under sink faucet wrench" and look at the "images" you'll see how to use such a tool.

Any experience or wisdom related to removing the sinks? Looks like they're cemented into place - 5200? I'd like to replace both sinks and faucets and I thought if I got the sink out, I could reach the faucet easily. (Famous last words.... )

The sinks in my boat are held in with little springy tabs welded to the bowl. Just smack the. Sink from below and it should pop up.
