Exhaust layout 36'
My 36 w/Lehman 120 has the exhaust come out of the elbow pointing down, and then the hose runs along the floorboards, up the port side to just under the main deck, then into the aft cabin, through a straight-through muffler, then out the stern . While checking it out this fall I was able to pull it apart by hand it was so rotten where it lies on the floor by the elbow. I assume that area always remains with water on the inside of the hose. Does anyone else have this configuration? All of the others I see have a water-lift muffler. If you have a picture with the water lift I would appreciate it.

I don't have a picture that shows mine.
However, the "Albin 36 Schematics" shows where the muffler should be on a view from the top. That pdf is in the library I believe.
If you don't have access or can't find it e mail me at jleonard at globalsteering dot com and I can send to you.

My appears to be a flow though muffler under the bed on the port side in aft cabin but all hoses are intact.

One of my posts in the "Hydrolocked, again" thread of this forum has a good photo of how the lift muffler was installed just behind my port fuel tank. Hope that helps.
I will be finalizing the re-make of that install, with a "dry-rise" shortly. I'm going to post pics of that also.
