Fiberglass repair
I need to repair the front edge of the keel on my 28. The transporter scraped about 1/4 inch deep and 5 inches long with trailers crossmember. I have fiberglass resin I can use but was wondering if I should be using something else like epoxy. Any suggestions?

Re: Fiberglass repair
Marine-Tex should fix that up easily.
I've used it for years on all sorts of underwater minor repairs.

Re: Fiberglass repair
Either will work. I would use a thickening agent and make it like peanut butter. Then it might take only one application before it ready to sand back to shape.
I would also apply some heat via a hairdryer, etc to get it to set up in cold temps.
