Proper RPM's
We have several threads going on here about props., RPM's etc. Can anyone tell me how to go about proving that the tachometer installed in my boat is reading correctly? I suppose if the boat had a gas engine, I could attach another tach. easily but what to do on a diesel? Denis

Thanks for the reply. I am going to look into what those phot tachs would cost or see if I can borrow one. I remember that the tach. did not work on my sea trial and they fixed it before delivery. It's just possible it is not reading correctly and my engine is running perfectly and my prop. is the correct size after all.
