31TE Available

Post by jointventure »

While talking to Ken of Standish Boat Yard he show'd a 31 with twin Yanmars, bow thruster, electronics package, etc., etc.,etc. He has it listed at $119,000 but the motivated seller would consider $95,000.May be worth a call and a look for anyone feeling the urge to move up

You beat me to it Kevin. I was thinking the same thing.

I took a look at the 31 Ken has. It needs some TLC but for the price it's certainly worth a look.

Hi, new to the forum. I have been looking to buy a 31 in the near future. We did look at this one and saw that it needed TLC. Wondering your opinion is on the machanical aspect of it? Also, is over 2000hrs alot for a genny?
Thanks in advance for any input

Kwazie,

We have a '97TE and last year had to replace the "back end" (generator part) of our generator at about 1100 hours. We were told 5000 hours is more like it for any major problems and 10,000 hours is not unheard of, but it simply failed, while the engine part was fine. The only upside is that now our generator produces 6kw instead of 5kw, as that is the new model of the same generator.
