How do you bleed the air from the coolant system for proper operation of both the engine and water heater? Just got a new water heater and now have to bleed the heater... thank you

Re: New Water Heater
There should be a petcock someplace high on the engine coolant system that will let you bleed air. If we knew what engine you have it would help.

Re: New Water Heater
Filling with new coolant real slow will eliminate a lot of air. Run, check, top off, repeat.. Pulling off the hoses at the water heater coil will expedite the process too.
