Sliding screen door
This is a sliding screen door on my 36 DC designed by the PO (twice removed) This is between the hull and the port side door. It is made of standard screen door parts.

Re: Sliding screen door
Wayyyyyy cool on all three mods -- especially the screen door! Thank you for posting the design docs. Does your anchor chain locker have a drain? And/or a 'raw' water washdown system? (mine has neither)

I have a locker drain and 2 sillcocks on deck, one is sea water and the other fresh water.

Re: Sliding screen door
Screen door === excellent!!
Has there been any modifications made for a track in the frame for the door to run on or ??
Also I notice you have the same cabinet to the right just inside the port door as we do and I've never noticed it on any other 36'. We have our fridge in it and a tankless propane water heater behind the fridge.

Re: Sliding screen door
I don't know if the track was modified, I haven't seen another to compare. The fridge compartment was put in in 1992, I have a propane unit. How do you ventilate your box? I generate a lot of heat.
