New member....from Bellingham WA area. Am interested in moving up to a bigger boat in the next 2-5 years and am looking hard at the 31TE or 35TE. I am doing "research"....at least that's what I tell myself when I spend hours on the net looking at boat porn.
I found the Grady Forum very helpful before I bought my 248 Voyager and hope this is the same here!

Thanks Doug.
I have family on the east coast-- Old Greenwich, CT to be exact. Spent some time on LI sound when I was a kid....never got to go striper fishing though.

Well let me know if you ever get back this way and we'll see what we can do to get you out on the Sound.Pete1313 wrote:Thanks Doug.

Pete 1313: Did you attend the Rendevous in Anacortes, Wa. this past July. I do have the 35te Sportfisher flybridge edition. It was at the Rendenvous. I keep the boat at Anacortres Marina and would be happy to take you out for a short cruise.
I find the boat extremely dependable, comfrontable, and stable even at the flybridge in pretty windy conditions.
Let me know if I can help in your search.

Thanks Howard. I just got your PM as well. I'll give you a call sometime. I'd love to go for a spin! As you know, I'm right up the road in Bellingham. I'll be at Cap Sante for a few days in March for the Anacortes Salmon Derby - fish that every year! Have yet to win it.
Oh, and no, I'm not that Pete you're talking about as I don't own an Albin (yet).

Pete: Will be happy to take you out in the 35te. I am a member of the Fidago Island -San Juan Islands Chapter and fish with a member of the Belllingham Anglers Fishing Chapter. If you are fishing the Anacortes open I assume you must belong to the Bellingharm Chapter as well?
Had two good days July 1st and 2nd Opening Salmon Season there with limits. For the balance of the year I did poorly as one needs to be in the Sound when fish are coming to go up the river. I am used to fishing anytime out in the ocean - but the calm water of the Sound is wonderful.
If you are a fisherman we should get together as i need a good fishing partner up north. Yes, I had already realized my mistake re another Pete in that I read right pass Bellingham, Wa.
