Many have asked me about Middle River. Here's a nice article from Chesapeake Boating magazine.

It can be a little daunting on the weekend. Very busy. But, if your looking for a mid-week cruise spot, it's pretty nice.

I have been to EYC (Eastern Yacht Club) and it was nice. Nowhere else though.
Maybe someday after I get out of Canada.....

Re: Destination: Middle River?
My wife grew up sailing with sisters on Middle River years ago. Question for you. We are in retirement and doing more cruising on our Albin 28. When we sailed we pulled a dinghy behind us for going ashore but we never had any speed to worry about. Is this option worth the hassle? Any ideas like fastening raft on back? Thanks.
