Thank you RobS!Hello all, new member here. Been actively looking at 28TE’s for a few months now. Looked at boats $55K up to $100K, both Yanmar & Peninsular powered boats. Can’t really decide if the extra $20K or so is worth it for the Yanmar if both buys are for low hour well maintained boats? I’ve read quite a few posts and the Peninsular seems to be pretty accepted in this group. Is the newer non-GM Peninsular the preferred one as opposed to the older GM block, I believe there were some changes around 1999? Any feedback is appreciated - Thanks in advance!

Member Recognition - Rob Schepis
Rob has been with us since Oct. 2007. He hit a milestone of 2000 posts this week. We can always count on Rob for helpful insight AND a photo to go with his thoughts. He is a gold member, has been a rendezvous coordinator, and is a great guy. Sharon and I had the pleasure of meeting Rob and his family at the 2009 Northeast Rendezvous. Here is Rob's first post.

Re: Member Recognition - Rob Schepis
While Rob is top notch among Albin owners, he is more than that, he is a good friend, even to those who have "left the fold". Karen & I missed the Rendezvous this year (but not the rain) and we hope that we will be able to visit and see old friends next year. Congrats to Rob & Erika!
