I have just bought a 1994 28T Albin with a Volvo diesel engine 6 cyl. ???... Wher can i get some info on this engine/ The PO has some notes i hope can help KMAD 42B HSIA engine serial # 2204206135.
also was circled KAD42.. If need be i noticed a plate attached to the engine which would give more info i can get that info also. I need to know where the zincsare located , oil change trans. change and what type of oil i need to use etc..... thank you

First, you're going to want to know exactly which engine you have. So I suggest trying to get a look at the plate on the engine.

I've had a lot of luck with parts and info for my engines from the guys at Niemiec Marine. Their web site is: http://marinedieselparts.com/ and their phone number is on the website. Give them a call, they're very helpful and have access to a lot of information. (Good prices too!)

that has a lot of good info and expanded diagrams.

(BTW - It looks like your engine may be a "KAMD42" as I can't find a "KMAD")
