bottomless bucket

Post by mudskipper »

Many years ago before west marine took over the world, we had little local marine suppliers. My favorite was in Camden NJ M and E marine. I bought a bottomless bucket there which has finally started to fall apart. It had a good metal handle and a flap at the bottom, so when you tossed it in the water it would fill well and then hold the water I Googled bottomless bucket and got some leads that lead nowhere, and some spiritual mumbo jumbo . Does any one know where I can get one? Thanks Jay on Aquarius :.

I did some searching. The consensus of my google-foo is that Davis Instruments used to make them, but no more.

You could probably make one from a five gallon bucket and some inner tube...
