turbo wash
On a 315 yanmar when you do a turbo wash do you take the cage that holds the pre filter off and if so how do you get the cage off

You only have to remove the sponge filter.

Removing the cage is recommended. It is only one band clamp. This way you can inspect the turbo before and after and spray the wash and the water at the turbine directly.
