Re: stains on non skid deck
A neighbor of mine uses Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for spots on his fiberglass. Says it works well but I haven't tried it myself. Another option is oxalic acid. You can buy it at West Marine in a granular form and make a solution with water. It's probably also available in most hardware stores. Many of the boatyards use it for the tougher stains on fiberglass and is probably better than the Magic Eraser for larger areas.

Spray Nine via a stiff scrub brush works well and may already be aboard..

Ditto on the stiff brush and scrubbing in multiple directions.

I always try straight white vinegar first. It works well, cheap, and won't hurt anything. If that fails.....
A stiff brush and........
Barkeeper's Friend powdered cleanser with oxalic acid works very well. Be sure to rinse well so no powdery residue remains.
Also Starbrite deck cleaner, and allow to sit for a few minutes as directions suggest.
Mr. Clean Erasers are a "must have".

Zud is another common product with Oxalic Acid. Make a paste and let it set, will take rust stains off....usually found in most grocery stores.

Another vote for Starbrite Deck Cleaner from West. It takes everything off the deck. Zud is also a great cleaner for everything. It will turn a yellow waterline bright white in no time.
