Share 28 TE Cabin Storage Ideas Here
We're in the process of purchasing an Albin 28 TE (no details until we close - don't want to jinx it), but in preparation I've been scouring this site for storage ideas, of which I've not found many (may be my searching skills). Anyway, never being one to reinvent the wheel, I thought I'd start this thread as a way of collecting everyone's highly creative cabin storage ideas/pictures in one thread for all to refer to. Thanks in advance for you contributions!

Re: Albin 28 TE Cabin Storage Ideas
Hi Chris and Dale -
Looking forward to hearing what you've settled on!
As for cabin storage - me too! There's a lot of space forward of the forward-most dinette cushion. I've got the filler cushions and bedding in there.
Under the dinette seats are large compartments with a V-shaped bottom. On our boat, the starboard one is full of air conditioning ducts, but the port side is empty. I'm thinking of setting a simple shelf at the bottom of that space, which would make it very usable for, well, I haven't decided yet. Cooking equipment, canned goods, beer, soda, spare parts, tools??
I'm considering a magazine rack on the head door. Not for magazines, but for frequently used logs, charts, and manuals.
I haven't figured out where to hang the galley dish/hand towel.
Cleaning supplies are quite disorganized on our boat. They don't all fit in one place.
It's all quite challenging. I cut in half what we had on our previous boat, and then cut another third off that.

Look through all the pictures. Even the rendezvous photos. There are some great ideas. You can also try using the Google search on the main page.cdswabbie wrote:We're in the process of purchasing an Albin 28 TE (no details until we close - don't want to jinx it), but in preparation I've been scouring this site for storage ideas, of which I've not found many (may be my searching skills). Personally I just don't have a lot of "stuff". I have a large dock box that is full of the things I only need once in a while.
