Embroidery/clothing

Post by Legacy »

If you are looking for custom embroidered boating apparel such as hats, Tee shirts, fleeces, etc. with the name and/or image of your boat, I've been very pleased with Krazy Kat's in Chelsea, MA. They do really good custom work at a good price. They already have the artwork for an Albin 28 on file and soon the 35TE if you wanted either of those images. Check out www.crazykatsembroidery.com. Very easy to work with, can work from a photo of your boat, and they accept all sorts of art files via e-mail.

Just passing along the reference. Hope I don't sound like a shill, I have no financial stake or relationship with them at all.

Hey Rick,
Isn't the image of a 35TE the same as a 28TE, just bigger?

Hey Ric - - Sen. Arlen Spaghetti and the Congressional delegation is questioning all of us 35 owners. Accusing us of using AGH (AlbinGrowth Hormones) to be bigger and badder than a cute little 28!

Molds

Post by RicM »

You know, on the factory tour I never actually saw a mold for the the 35 TE! They musta just made a 31 then shot it full of steroids! No wander they are closing in the wake of the Mitchell Report.

Actually, pre-1998 31s were made from the 35 mold.

You have to allow for shrinkage. :D

Shrinkage. A common side-affect from steroid usage.

Where is it?

I looked on their web site but couldn't locate the Albin artwork. Even did a search on Albin and nothing popped up. Any clues?

Albin 28 image

Post by Legacy »

You just need to send Krazy Kat's an e-mail or give them a call. They have the Albin 28 on file from an earlier Albin owner they did work for and can make you any gear you need directly from that image. I saw it at the boat show, looks terrific. I'm having them do my 35 once I send them artwork.

Good luck.
