Midship cleats
Anyone move their midship cleats???...using them for spring lines is a PIA!

I guess I don't get why you think they are in the wrong place?? The only thing I don't like is that they MUST rub on the teak. I need to put some stainless strips down to protect the teak. Its on the long list.

Eeeww, like the 36s. I know what you mean, I would have moved them.
Glad mine are on the gunnel cap, although I know they lack real strength. But then with a 120 engine I probably can't pull them off

yeah..I'm gonna look at the kind of hawse pipes with cleats built in...but when my teak deck comes off...those cleats are history no matter what I figure out!!!

Hi, i recessed mine into the gunnel, used cleated hause pipe. Works great, looks good
