My side slider and fixed windows are leaking during hard rain. I understand this is an inherent problem with trawlers. I am considering replacing the windows with a water tight and durable version. Can anyone recommend a brand/style. I want to keep the teak trim if possible for the charm of the boat. Removing and cleaning seems less expensive but not sure it will work. Thanks

Re: albin replacement windows
If you read thru some of the previous threads on this subject you'll get lots of info. In my case removing, cleaning, installing new tracks stopped the leaks.byoung4653 wrote:My side slider and fixed windows are leaking during hard rain. Keeping the tracks and drains clean is critical.

Hi we are doing this job and making a full DVD of the process so I'll be able to post you some stills. Filming commences in April if you can wait that long.
