And Dave, please adjust the heat to be in the mid to high 80's. Matt had it up too high last year

Re: ESSEX ISLAND MARINA IT IS
We are thinking about attending this NorthEast rendezvous but we have a 1986 43 Sundeck and am a little concerned that virtually every other member of the Group seems to have 27 or 28s. Not sure how much we will have in common other than the fact that we have been cruising Long Island Sound for about 50 years. We have had "BLAST" since 1988, having seen it first at the 1986 NY Boat Show and fell in love with it at that time. It ruined us for other boats as we always compared them to our Albin and the others came up short. Would we first "reserve" with this group or with Essex Island Marina should we decide to attend?
We keep "BLAST" on City Island, NY. but hail from Larchmont, NY

Re: ESSEX ISLAND MARINA IT IS
You would reserve with the marina directly. Do come, the more the variety of Albins the better. The 28's get a little boring to look at after awhileErnieo1 wrote:We are thinking about attending this NorthEast rendezvous but we have a 1986 43 Sundeck and am a little concerned that virtually every other member of the Group seems to have 27 or 28s. If there is a prize for "longest owned" I think you'd be a winner!

Re: ESSEX ISLAND MARINA IT IS
Absolutely plan on coming. Yes, most of the boats are 28's, but there are several 31's, probably 2 35's at least, and maybe the 45 will make it back. Guaranteed you'll have a good time mixing with all. Lot of Long Island Sound cruising stories and you may elaborate on places we haven't gone to or thought about.
