albin of interest
My name is geo. my wife kathy and i are interested in an older 32 2. Our main interest is cruising but we also fish. This seems to be the model that would work best for us. I would appreciate any input on the dos and donts of this boat. It has a370 yanmar gen set ac etc . thanks in advance george

Re: albin of interest
There are not many active 32 owners here but I can give some basic differences as the 32 evolved from 1989.
1989- 1993+/- : Galley fwd, transmission connected by intermediate shaft (not good).
1995: Galley moved aft (big improvement IMO)
1996, late: 32+2 created by extending hull under platform
1997: 370 hp engines becoming more common as standard power
Mine is a pre +2 96. Besides minor tinkering there is little cabin layout change from 05 till the end of production. Given the choice now, I'd get a 32+2, 97 or later.

pfantom: What year is the boat? You comment is just older. Sound like it i nicely equiped with the 370 Yanmar, AC & Gen Set.

Re: albin of interest
A well cared for 2000 should be a nice boat. I think they had gone to the SS ports instead of plastic by then. Only cabin change from my 96 I know of is a vanity in fwd cabin instead of a seat.
