Hi gang,
I have a tach that is displaying erratic rpm readings. Could someone please tell me where,
on a 6lp ste 440hp Yanmar engine, that sensor is located? The majority of posts on the subject
indicate a bad connection at the sensor. Cleaning the connection as a first option makes sense
to me if only I could find it. Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: Tachometer sensor location
On my 6lp 315 hp it is on the flywheel housing, between the engine and tranny. I think its a 2 wire plug.
