Re: Compton 33
Any chance we could move this to the general discussion forum? Don't want to clutter the TE forum with my future ramblings

Wonder how many were built. Saw the first one at the Annapolis show some years ago. It absolutely reeks Albin. Maybe the later Albins reek Compton. Either way remember it being a creepy feeling stepping onboard that boat.
BTW, I still like my 32 better.

Re: Compton 33
One of my main attractions to the compton was its "creepy" resemblance to the albin. I loved my te28. Its a great boat. I wanted a 35 with twins, but they are hard to come by and they are big $.
They only made about 20 or so.
Should be headed to portland saturday to make the run back to the cape. I will post an update afterwards.

Re: Compton 33
Made the trip on saturday. Took a mere 6.5 hours from portland to cataumet. 4' at 10 seconds out of the south east with a solid wnw wind and some west chop.
.
Was a great ride, very comfortable and pleasurable.
.
My guess is that compton took the mold of the 35te and called it a 33
